ConduitPro started in 1997 to assist us in staying within the guidelines of EIA/TIA and BICSI installation standards for communications cabling. It was easy to calculate cable and conduit area to determine conduit sizes. It was not as easy determining how many cables would fit in a specific conduit or fire-wall penetration that had existing cables and still be with specification fill limits.
ConduitPro determines minimum bend radius, multiple conduit sizing, maximum (NASA) cable placement, cable trough fill percentages and maximum allowable cable pull tensions. In addition, conduit diameters are listed ( and are customer adjustable) for EMT, GRC, PVC40/80, EB-20-35-60-100-120, GT and C duct.
